Purpose Statement: This is my content for SEO writing.

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, it is the process of optimizing your website so that more people will see it when they type in keywords and phrases on the search engines. The reason this is so important as it is because it will help the business or organization thrive and get more visitors on their site and may help with online traffic, marketing, or sales. The way the reading says it can generate more optimization is by coming up with more strategic content focused on popular keywords and phrases that will boost up their online reputation. Any organization that has an online presence usually would want to increase its presence as much as possible. In this day and age, the internet is everything; everyone and everything wants to be the next big thing, increasing their content and boosting their SEO is a great way to do that.

I think about my assigned organization which is the Newberg Downtown Coalition. Their website is simple and could use some updating from what they have now. Do not misinterpret, it is organized and succinct but missing some key features in their online business profile. But if they boost their SEO then they would benefit greatly and possibly even increase tourism. Practical things that they can do is come out with a blog for their organization. Since they oversee various businesses in Newberg they would be rich in content to post as much as they wanted to. Their website would have to come out with regular content, but they cannot be fluff pieces. They would have to be to the best of their ability to come out with quality content that will get people onto the website. This idea is simple but can have a great impact on their organization in the time to come.
